GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Green Bay Packers have traded QB Brett Hundley to the Seattle Seahawks, according to reports from ESPN’s Rob Demovsky and Adam Schefter.
The Packers will receive a 2019 draft pick in return for Hundley. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport says the Packers will get a sixth round pick.
Schefter reports DeShone Kizer will officially become Aaron Rodgers’ backup in Green Bay.
Hundley will back up Russell Wilson in Seattle.
Action 2 Sports director Chris Roth says it was the best-case scenario for Hundley who is in the final year of a rookie contract.
