Monroe man faces drug charges after search of home

MONROE (WKOW) — A local man is accused of growing marijuana at a home in Monroe.

According to Monroe police, officers worked with agents from the State Line Area Narcotics Team (SLANT) on the investigation into Joshua J. Mueller, 38.

The team searched a home on 14th Avenue Tuesday evening and found two marijuana plants, packaged marijuana, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms and other paraphernalia like growing equipment, scales and smoking devices.

Police say Mueller now faces multiple charges, including manufacturing tetrahydrocannabinols, possession of
tetrahydrocannabinols with intent to deliver, possession of psilocybin, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mueller is in custody at the Green County jail right now.
