MADISON (WKOW) – After a couple strong storms this afternoon in southwest Wisconsin, the flooding threat returns tonight until midday Wednesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch from 7 pm tonight til 1 pm Wednesday for areas west of Madison.
A slow moving low pressure system and trailing cold front will push in our direction this evening allowing for scattered showers & storms.
Rainfall becomes more widespread late after midnight. Expect numerous showers for the morning drive, especially areas west of Madison under the watch.
The rain threat will end by mid-afternoon.
Expect another 1-2″ of rain in the watch area with isolated hot spots getting more than that.
