MADISON (WKOW) — A giant spectacle returns to Madison.
The World Clydesdale Show is held every three years and is the crown jewel competition for the breed.
More than 600 clydesdales from around the world are in Madison this weekend. It’s the first time the event is back on U.S. soil since 2011, when Madison was also the host city.
“We have visitors here from Scotland, Australia, it’s just definitely a world event,” said Cathy Bahn, executive director of Clydesdale Breeders U.S.A.
The World Clydesdale Show kicks off Thursday and goes all weekend at the Alliant Energy Center.
