Rain and wind will move in this morning

MADISON (WKOW) — The next storm system moves in late this morning and will bring heavy rain sleet and snow to the area.
Expect the heaviest of the precipitation midday with most of our viewing area picking up rain with winds up to 30 mph. A few counties including Adams and Juneau will be seeing a mix of rain/snow/sleet all day Saturday and could pick up a few inches of slushy snow.
Rain will slowly transition to a light snow tomorrow and could leave us with an inch of snow and some slick spots on the roads.
The temperatures all weekend long will be above freezing anywhere south of the Dells which should mean for wet roads and not slick roads, until at least tomorrow afternoon.
Cold air from Canada moves in next week with highs back below freezing.
