MADISON (WKOW) — Wisconsin farmers and other industry leaders gathered in Madison for a unique workshop focused on being prepared in times of crisis. The workshop was hosted at Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin headquarters.
The training is designed to help farmers learn how to handle manure management, animal welfare and water quality.
“To think about crisis, anticipate, crisis, and really prepare for unanticipated times that may happen to them in the future,” said Judy Rupnow, Senior Counselor at Morgan Myers.
The crisis management workshop is part of a series of training by the Professional Dairy Producers.
