One hurt in early morning fire at Janesville home

JANESVILLE (WKOW) — Authorities are looking into what caused an early morning fire at a Janesville home that left one person hurt.

The Janesville Fire Department  said firefighters were called out to a home on W. Holmes Street shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

When they arrived, there was a fire on the first floor.  A person was able to get out, but had burn injuries and was taken to the hospital.

More than two dozen firefighters were on scene. Right now, fire officials do not have damage estimates.
