Dane County Humane Society asks for help caring for fox with mange

MADISON (WKOW) — The Dane County Humane Society’s Wildlife Center is taking care of a fox with a bad case of mange.

The center posted a video of the fox on Facebook over the weekend, asking for donations. It says he was found curled up in a window well and later rescued by an animal services officer.

The fox was hungry, thirsty and had external wounds, but is now being cared for. The center says the fox will be there for the next few months while he recovers.

The Dane County Humane Society is asking for donations for his treatment and the treatment of other animals at the rehabilitation center. Click here to donate.
