Woman rescued seconds before train hits car

LOMBARD, IL (WKOW) — Two Good Samaritans and a police officer rescued a woman just seconds before her car got hit by a train.

New video shows a train pushing a car down the tracks in the Chicago suburb of Lombard.

Authorities say the 96-year-old driver of the car got stuck on the tracks, became disoriented and had trouble getting out of the car.

After she was rescued, the woman was taken to the hospital.
