2 taken to hospital after plane crash in Menominee Co. Saturday

MENOMINEE COUNTY (WBAY) — Two people were transported to hospital after a plane crash in Menominee County Saturday afternoon.

The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office said four people were on the single engine plane when it crashed near County Highway M and State Highway 55 at 11:28 a.m.

Authorities say all four passengers sustained non-life threatening injuries. Two were taken to a medical facility.

The plane took off from the Waupaca area and was headed to Iron Mountain, Michigan.

The investigation is ongoing.
