MADISON (WKOW) — Despite areas in Southern Wisconsin receiving anywhere from 5 inches to a foot of snow, passengers flying to and from the Dane County Regional Airport told 27 News flights remained mostly on schedule.
There were a few reported cancellations for departures and arrivals, but most travelers say their flights were on-time, much to their surprise.
“Very happy,” said Kolten Kittleson. “It’s always a real bummer if a flight gets delayed or even cancelled, so it was really nice to see that Delta was on time.”
Ahead of the storm, airlines were offering travel waivers, including Sun Country Airlines, Delta, and United.
