Puppy Bowl watch party in Madison on Super Bowl Sunday

MADISON (WKOW) — While many people are focused on the Super Bowl this Sunday, some prefer the Puppy Bowl.

There was a viewing party at Bierock in Madison to support Dane County Humane Society.

The Puppy Bowl was projected on the big screen and 10 percent of all sales during the event went to the shelter.

Some people also got a Puppy Bowl fantasy league going

“It’s been really popular, I’m keeping track of the puppies that get touchdowns, field goals, and fouls. That’s how we determine who the winner is. You also pick your MVP,” said Sarah Bartash, who started the league.

This is the 3rd year Sarah Bartash has been running the league. She sold pins that said “Team Ruff ” and “Team Fluff” to raise money for the humane society.
