Stanley Johnson is in his 4th year in the league. According to Basketball Reference, he’s averaged 7.1 PPG in his career. He joins a crowded wing rotation that includes Khris Middleton, Tony Snell, Sterling Brown and Rookie Donte DiVencenzo.
Last month, Thon Maker publicly requested a trade because of a lack of playing time. Since that request made by his agent, he hasn’t played a single minute.
Maker will mostly be remembered as a Buck for his play in playoffs in first round series against the Toronto Raptors in 2017 and the Boston Celtics in 2018. Besides for some moments in those two series, he mostly failed to live up to the hype of a lottery pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
Stanley Johnson was the 8th overall pick in 2015. Like Maker, Johnson failed to live up to the hype of a lottery pick at this point of his career.
