Ohio State scores in overtime to edge Badgers men’s hockey

MADISON (WKOW) — Ohio State’s Matt Miller scored with 10 seconds left in overtime to lift the Buckeyes past Wisconsin 2-1.

The Badgers took the lead in the second period with a goal from Mick Messner. That lead held into the third period. John Wiitala scored a power-play goal to even it up and force overtime. Daniel Lebedeff notched 24 for the Badgers in a losing effort.

Wisconsin falls to 9-13-5 (5-7-5-2 in Big Ten). No. 3 Ohio State improves to 18-5-4 (11-3-3-2 in Big Ten).
