MADISON (WKOW) — The man accused of hitting and killing an off-duty firefighter along the Beltline in Madison is headed to trial.
On Wednesday, a judge determined there’s enough evidence in the case against Samuel Cremers.
The judge also entered a not guilty plea for him.
Authorities say Cremers was driving with a suspended license when he hit Lake Mills Fire Captain Chris Truman. Truman had stopped to help a stranded driver.
