(WKOW) — Convicted murderer and kidnapper Jake Patterson has moved to a new jail.
Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says Patterson, 21, is being held in the Dunn County Jail in Menomonie.
Fitzgerald says it was an “administrative decision” and there were no issues or threats that led to the move.
Patterson is expected to be held there until his sentencing on May 24.
Earlier this week, Patterson pleaded guilty to killing James and Denise Closs and kidnapping their daughter, 13-year-old Jayme Closs.
