MADISON (WKOW) — The first outdoor Dane County farmers’ market of the season was a bit chilly, but the sunshine helped.
Hundreds packed Capitol Square for the market Saturday, itching to get outside and explore the variety that spring brings.
“I like waking up early and just exploring with friends before the crowd gets here, which is nice,” market-goer Sophia Slawson said.
The Dane County Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday and Wednesday now through mid-November.
On Wednesdays the market takes place on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
