MADISON (WKOW) — A six-year-old boy who is fighting leukemia is the guest of honor at this weekend’s Fire on Ice hockey tournament in Madison.
The tournament, which features local firefighters taking to the ice, benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Noah Sanger is this year’s “Wish Kid”. He is living with acute lymphocytic leukemia. Noah is now two years into his three years of treatment.
As the special guest for this year’s tournament, Noah got to visit Fire Station 7 in Madison on Friday before helping to drop the puck and begin the competition.
Fire on Ice runs through Sunday at the Madison Ice Arena.
