More than 700 people take their own lives in Wisconsin each year. An alarming rate that lawmakers are joining forces to find the root causes of suicides and how to educate the public about the resources available to prevent them. Chair of the suicide task force Rep. Joan Ballweg (R-Markesan) provides details on what policy decisions their considering to tackle the problem.

Calkins Sullivan shares her story of losing her husband in 2015 while working on a construction site. International Workers’ Memorial Day is held annually on April 28th in remembrance of workers killed, disabled or injured in the workplace.
