BARRON (WQOW) — Many from the community rallied together Saturday at Barron High School to put on a fundraiser in support of Jayme Closs and her family.
The celebration had music and food, with a silent auction, a raffle, and ‘Small Town Strong’ shirts for sale.
Plus a program, giving thanks to all who helped make the festivities possible for everyone to enjoy.
Event organizer, Bill Balts says it was a much needed day for the community.
“This was such a tragedy in our community and this has such a positive impact here as far as just a celebration. Jayme’s return was such a, lifting a cloud off of our community and people want to celebrate”.
Balts says he is thankful for all the donations from the community to be able to make the event as great as possible for the Closs family.
