Police arrest man accused of leaving Menomonee Falls store with shopping cart full of Hennessy liquor

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — Menomonee Falls police have arrested a suspect who they say walked out of a store with 24 bottles of Hennessy liquor.

The theft happened May 3 at the Costco on Pershing Avenue, according to WISN TV

Officers said he also took a Lorex brand home security system.

The goods were worth about $1,500.

Our Milwaukee affiliate, WISN,  obtained surveillance video of the incident.

In the video, the suspect can be seen wheeling a cart full of goods past cashiers.

At one point, it appears that an employee stops the suspect to question him, but she lets him leave the store.

Police learned the suspect’s identity during their follow-up investigation, and he was later arrested.
