Woman killed, two injured following Dodge Co. crash

DODGE COUNTY (WKOW) — Police say a woman was killed and two men were injured following a crash in Dodge County Thursday afternoon.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident on County A at County C in the Township of Fox Lake around 1:45 p.m., according to a Sheriff’s report.

Authorities say a box truck failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with an SUV while traveling southbound on County C, approaching County A.

The passenger of the SUV, 71-year-old Marjorie Hannan, was flown to UW Hospital with life threatening injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Officials say she later passed away from her injuries while at the hospital.

The SUV’s driver, 71-year-old Stephen Hannan of Beaver Dam, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Beaver Dam Community Hospital and later flown to UW Hospital in Madison.

The driver of the box truck, 61-year-old Richard Grede of Juneau, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says they are continuing to investigate this crash.
