Crews battle forest fire in Adams County

UPDATE (WKOW) — A fire in Adams County burned more than 11 acres Saturday.

According to the DNR’s website, debris burning started the fire that threatened structures.

ADAMS COUNTY (WKOW) — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed an active forest fire on Buttercup Ave. near Hwy 13 in the township of Big Flats.

Officials say units are currently on scene.

No further information is available at this time.
