Shower chances increase overnight and Sunday

MADISON (WKOW) – After a warm and dry start to the weekend, changes are coming.

A cut-off low pressure system is drifting in from the Mid-South allowing for a few showers after midnight, especially farther south. Temps stay mild in the low 60s.

Sunday will be milder than Saturday with more clouds than sun causing temps to only climb to the low and mid 70s. Expect just a few showers through the day, with lots of dry time in between.

Another system’s cold front will work into Wisconsin late-afternoon, allowing for a few more t-showers to develop. Rain chances decrease late evening as the front passes through.

Sunshine returns for the work week, but on the back side of our system, a bit of a breeze will pick up from the NW up to 15 mph. Temps stay mild, only in the low 70s.

Mid 70s and pleasant conditions as high pressure sticks around on Tuesday.

More rain expected later in the work week. Click here for your complete 27 Storm Track forecast.
