Rain chances increase, soggy by midweek

MADISON (WKOW) – After a sunny start to the week, rain chances return.

Mostly clear skies will continue into tonight. The winds will die down a bit and we will drop into the low 50s.

We start off the day with sunshine, but an upper level area low pressure will allow increased cloud cover and just a few showers or t-showers to develop late-day. Temps will be in the mid 70s and more scattered showers will move in during the evening hours and over night.

Midweek will be even cloudier and cooler. Expect showers throughout the day and temps only in the mid 60s. Showers will end at night.

Conditions dry out on Thursday with partly sunny skies. It will remain cool with temps in the upper 60s.

Rain chances return with just a few t-showers possible ahead of another weather system developing. Temps will be in the low 70s.

More active weather is expected on Saturday with mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers and storms. Temps will be in the mid 70s.

Dry with partly sunny skies for Sunday with temps on the mid 70s. Click here for your full 27 Storm Track forecast.
