WAUKESHA (WKOW) — The pair accused in a standoff that shut down I-94 faced a judge Thursday.
Both Kalin Sunde and Nathan Halfman appeared in Waukesha County court in separate hearings.
According to the criminal complaint, Sunde and Halfman stole a van and led police on a chase that ended with a standoff at Highway 67 and I-94 in Oconomowoc.
Police forced them out with tear gas and shot Halfman.
Sunde waived her right to a preliminary hearing.
Halfman’s bail was set at $100,000.
Halfmann is scheduled to be back in court for a pretrial hearing for August 1.
