Showers and storms on Monday with hotter conditions rest of the week

MADISON (WKOW) – Expect elevated rain chances to start off the work week, before conditions quiet down and heat up.

A slow moving area of low pressure continues to impact Wisconsin as it trudges through the Midwest. Besides an isolated shower chance this evening, the rest of tonight will be muggy and mild with temps getting into the mid 60s.

Scattered showers and some storms return on Monday, with some dry time expected through the day.

Highs will be similar to this weekend in the mid to upper 70s. Rain chances decrease later in the evening.

A couple storms in the afternoon or evening could be stronger with a high wind and hail threat. We are under a marginal, category 1 risk, for severe weather Monday.

High pressure moves in on Tuesday allowing full sunshine to return with rising temps in the low to mid 80s.

High temps in the low to mid 80s are expected the rest of the month with a couple storm chances. Click here for your full 27 Storm Track forecast.
