The University of Wisconsin will be announcing their newest Athletic Hall of Fame Class between now and July 6. Former offensive lineman and ten time NFL Pro Bowler Joe Thomas was the first member of the 2019 class announced on Tuesday.
Thomas, a 34-year-old Brookfield native played for the Badgers from 2003 to 2006. From UW, Thomas played 11 seasons in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns. He played 10,363 consecutive snaps.

Thomas retired from the NFL in March of 2018. In January he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
