Gearing up for the Humane Society’s first ever Woofstock Music Festival

No, not WOODstock… WOOFstock! The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin is hosting its first ever Woofstock Music Festival Saturday, July 13th and you and your furry friend are invited. Mike McManus, executive director, and Kaitie Swedlund, director of fundraising and programming, joined us in studio to talk about the upcoming event.

“We’ll have four different bands playing, we have food trucks available all day, and the beer garden,” McManus said. “We’re hoping to have a real good time for everybody to benefit the humane society.”

Woofstock runs from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Telfer Park in Beloit. Tickets are $10 and benefit the humane society. To learn more about the event, click here.
