Scattered showers and storms ending overnight

MADISON (WKOW) — Showers and storms continue to move through southern Wisconsin late tonight.

The line is expected to weaken as it moves through southern Wisconsin, but we’ll still see scattered activity from now until 2 AM before conditions quiet down.

We stay muggy with high humidity keeping temps warm only getting into the low 70s.

Partly sunny, warm and more humid than today. Temps will be in the upper 80s with dew points in the 70s. The feels like temps will be closer to low 90s. Winds associated with a cold front will be gusting up to 25mph to give some relief from the heat.

That front slides through in the morning. There is a chance for an isolated storm or two to develop east of Madison, but as of now, it looks like any storms that develop will happen outside the viewing area closer to Milwaukee or south toward Chicago.

Thursday will be drier and cooler on the back side of that cold front with temps in the upper 70s and partly sunny skies. Friday will be warmer with temps in the mid 80s and a bit more humid.
