Car show in Middleton raises money for Gilda’s Club

MIDDLETON (WKOW) — A car show in Middleton is raising money for a local center that helps people impacted by cancer.

The Ferrari Club is hosting its annual Car Show Fundraiser for Gilda’s Club at Ruth’s Chris Steak House Saturday, July 13. It starts at 11 a.m.

Thursday on Wake Up Wisconsin, the organizer of the event stopped by to talk about why the local Ferrari Club has chosen to support Gilda’s Club for the past ten years.

“Cancer has touched my life. I lost both of my parents to cancer,” said Leigh Bahr. “[We] wanted money to stay local and help people [we] knew.”

All of the proceeds raised at Saturday’s event will go to Gilda’s Club. This fundraiser is especially important because Gilda’s Club was damaged during the historic flooding event in 2018.

Everyone is welcome to come and bring a car to the show.
