(WKOW) — Amazon Prime Day is becoming one of the biggest online shopping holidays of the year.
For the first time, the 2019 event will span over two days, July 14 and 15.
Julie Law, a spokesperson for Amazon, joined us Sunday on Wake Up Wisconsin to talk about how to score big on Prime Day this year.
“Prime Day’s got the star power,” Law said. Be prepared to see deals on products by celebrities like Lady Gaga, Mark Wahlberg, Will Smith and others.
One of the best Prime Day deals will be on Amazon devices. Some products will start as low as $14.99. Law said the easiest way to keep an eye on deals is to set a “watch this deal” alert on the Amazon app or ask your Echo device about deals.
Law also recommended getting a head start on the school year. “I have three little kids at home, and if you can get all your back to school supplies done now then you can just go on and enjoy the rest of your summer,” she said.
Prime Day is also making room for deals on small and medium sized businesses.
“Just look for the Amazon store fronts,” Law said.
