Biadasz lone returning starter on offensive line

As the Badgers season approaches, offensively all eyes are on running back Jonathan Taylor but even he has some adjustments to make with several new faces blocking in front of him.

Junior center, Tyler Biadasz started all 13 games last season for the Badgers, he returns in 2019 as the only returning starter.

Wisconsin has a handful of returning offensive lineman with game experience like Cole Van Lanen, Jason Erdmann, Logan Bruss, and Tyler Beach. There is plenty of optimism from Biadasz on the guys he will have around him on the o-line.

“We have lineman coming in that are bringing in great talent, to our team and the lineman you haven’t seen yet, I’m very excited for you guys to see,” said Biadasz to reporters at Big Ten Media Day in Chicago on Friday.

Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst said, “I like the group and I obviously have great confidence in Joe {Rudolph} and in that group. They are going to work and they are going to get there. It makes you feel good when Tyler {Biadasz} feels good. When you hear that you think that, but that makes you feel good. That doesn’t mean that we still don’t have a lot of work to do.”

Next up for the Badgers is the start of Fall Camp. Family Night at Camp Randall Stadium is set for July 31st. Wisconsin’s season opener is set for August 30th at South Florida.
