MADISON (WKOW) – Our weather pattern has turned quiet, thanks to a Canadian-based high pressure system.
Temps dip to the low to mid 50s tonight, the coolest conditions we’ve felt all month long. The last time we got to the mid 50s was June 22, nearly 40 days ago.
Lots of sunshine warms us to the upper 70s on Wednesday.
Expect great weather for Wednesday evening for the final Concerts on the Square in downtown Madison.
Sunshine remains dominant the rest of the week with temps warming to the low 80s Thursday, mid 80s Friday through the weekend as winds shift out of the south.
Humidity will increase a bit this weekend with temps still in the mid 80s. We could bubble up a stray storm in the afternoon and evening on Saturday and Sunday, but most stay dry.
Conditions turn hot to start off next week with temps in the upper 80s as a weather system approaches. Storms look possible at night.
