WASHINGTON COUNTY (WKOW) — Authorities are looking for a Washington County woman who has not been seen since her vehicle was discovered after hitting a power pole.

Kathleen Thomson, 63, was last seen wearing a black blouse, light blue shorts and black tennis shoes. She also wears eyeglasses.

She was involved in a car vs. utility pole accident about 2:30 a.m. Monday on County Highway C and Mayfield Road in the town of Polk in Washington County.

She was not located at the scene, and she was not found after an extensive ground and air search.

Thomson has significant health issues which greatly limit her movement. She typically walks with a walker, which was left at her home. She also recently suffered a stroke which has limited her ability to communicate.

Law enforcement is concerned that someone may have stopped to assist Kathleen and given her a ride, but she has not been located.
