Great late August stretch

MADISON (WKOW) — We have good reason to complain about the weather sometimes, but Mother Nature is about to take away our material.

Canadian high pressure will bring a string of pleasant days and cool nights through the weekend with temperatures at or a little below average – highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s. If you’re looking for rain you’ll have to wait until Sunday, but it’ll require a drive to NW Wisconsin to find it.

Our next chance for rain won’t come until Monday, when a cold front bumps into a slightly warmer and more humid air mass.

Rain Outlook through Monday

Until then, finalize those outdoor plans and savor some great late summer weather!
