Madison women inspire young activists with their new book

With more and more young people taking interest in activism, a resource on where to begin taking action is a handy tool for society’s youth. Girl Activist profiles 42 women from different time periods who fought for different causes, used different means, and started protesting or advocating for their causes at different times in their lives. Louisa Kamps and Michelle Wildgen, authors, joined us in the studio to share more about their inspiration behind the book.

Girl Activist is on sale now and can be purchased at local Madison bookstores, including A Room of One’s Own and Mystery to Me. Click here to find the book on Amazon.
