La Follette takes down Parker in game postponed because of lack of referees

Madison La Follette took down Janesville Parker, 35-7, on Saturday night at Monterey Stadium in Janesville.  The game was postponed to Saturday because of a lack of available officials to referee a game on Friday night.

In the matchup, Jaylend Brown scored from 8 yards out to put La Follette on the board, 7-0, midway through the first quarter. Parker’s Treveon Sanda intercepts La Follette quarterback Ben Probst, but the Vikes’ offense couldn’t put points on the board on the drive following the turnover.

Before halftime, the Lancers scored two more touchdowns, and held strong in the second half, to come away with the 35-7 win.
