MADISON (WKOW) — Police arrested a Madison man Saturday evening after they say he began hurling chairs at another man among a group of people dining outside of a State Street restaurant.
Jimmy A. Clark, 61, Madison, faces possible charges of battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
Police say a 49-year-old woman called them after a drunken man began hurling restaurant chairs at another man. In the process, bowls were broken, and woman was hit in the head with one of the flying chairs after she stepped between the two men in an effort to reduce hostilities.
She told police knows both men; got a bump on the head, and was not particularly interested in speaking with police about the matter.
