Report: Packers trade WR/Returner Trevor Davis to Raiders

According to the NFL Network, the Packers traded away wide receiver and kick/punt returner Trevor Davis on Wednesday to the Oakland Raiders.

So far this season, Davis has only 1 catch for 28 yards. Overall with the Packers, the wide out had 9 catches for 122 yards and 1 touchdown, but Health issues hindered his career with the team.

Davis was listed as lower on the receiving depth chart, but was the squad’s top kick and punt returner. Darrius Shepherd is listed second, and will likely will Davis’ role. The team also acquired CB Tremon Smith this week, who is also a specialist.
