UPDATE: Authorities find missing veteran after Green Alert issued

UPDATE (WKOW) — Law enforcement has found missing veteran Jeremiah Koehler after a Green Alert was issued Tuesday. They did not disclose how or where Koehler was found.

BARABOO (WKOW) — Authorities have issued a green alert for a missing veteran last seen in Baraboo.

Jeremiah A. S. Koehler took a black 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4×4 Sport for a test drive from Baraboo Motors at 2 p.m. Tuesday and never returned, according to the green alert issued four hours later.

Koehler, originally from Tomah, left his cell phone and personal car behind. He is a Marine Corps veteran with PTSD and may be using illegal narcotics, the alert said.

“Family members advised to use caution when contacting Koehler as he has not been acting right lately,” the alert said.

Authorities describe Koehler as a 34-years-old white man with a bald head and hazel eyes. The car had Baraboo Motors Group dealer tags on the front and back.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Baraboo Police Department at (608) 355-4495.
