Scattered showers will continue overnight. Temps stay mild ahead of an approaching cold front with lows only in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Expect scattered showers tapering by the evening with most spots picking up 1/4″ to 1/2″ of rain.

Temps take a massive nosedive starting off in the low 60s in the morning and ending up in the mid to upper 40s by mid-afternoon as a strong cold front passes through the region.

It’ll be quite breezy as well with winds out of the SE-WSW at 10-20 mph.

FREEZE WATCH 2 AM TO 9 AM SATURDAY. Frost is likely Friday night into Saturday morning as temps tumble to the low and mid 30s. This may be the first freeze of the season.

Cover or bring in your sensitive plants if you want them to survive the night.

It’ll be downright cold this weekend with wind chills by Saturday morning in the mid to upper 20s. Bundle up if you have outdoor plans!

Clouds increase again through the day as we have some wrap around moisture on the back side of our departing storm system.

Highs in the afternoon hours will top off in the mid 40s with wind chills stuck in the 30s.
