Garver Feed Mill re-opens in Madison

MADISON (WKOW) — A century-old landmark in Madison reopened on Friday after sitting vacant for more than 20 years.

State and local leaders were on hand for the grand re-opening of the Garver Feed Mill.

Governor Tony Evers admitted that he had his doubts that this day would ever come, saying, “My wife and I have passed this building a hundred times and just about every time we drive by I would say no way in hell they’re going to ever make anything out of this building and she was always like just wait it’s a big building, Madison is a great place.”

Garver Feed Mill is home to restaurants, shops and a place to gather for people living in Madison.
