YORKTOWN, VIRGINIA (WKOW) — Go to any high school sporting event, and you’ll find the stands filled with lots of parents.
They’re rooting on the players, the band, pompons and cheer.
But it’s unlikely you’ll find a more enthusiastic parent than Hekili Holland.
His cheer routine from the football stands during the York High vs. Warhill High dame in Yorktown, Virginia, has been watched by almost 3 million people so far on social, according to Good Morning America.
Holland’s routine was captured by Scott Willard, who posted the video to his Facebook page Nov. 1.
“This guy right here needs to go viral. By far CHEER DAD OF THE YEAR!!!!!! This dude rocks!!!! GO YORK FALCONS!!!!,” he wrote in the post.
Willard told “GMA” that when he spotted Holland, his “first thought was this guy is legit. No fear. Complete support for his daughter and the other cheerleaders. I just thought he was the cool dad.”
