Virtual tour gives people a chance to experience dementia first-hand

BELOIT (WKOW) —  A virtual dementia experience in Beloit is giving caregivers a chance to experience what their loved ones deal with every day.

Azura Memory Care is holding the World-Renowned Virtual Dementia Tour on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Home2 Suites on Cranston Road in Beloit.

Using things like gloves, glasses and headphones attendees will experience the tour and then talk about what they learned that will help them better communicate with people dealing with memory loss.
