State Assembly to discuss Wisconsin’s hemp pilot program

MADISON (WKOW) — The Wisconsin Assembly returns to the floor on Tuesday.

They will be discussing possibly making the state’s hemp pilot program permanent.

State officials said more than 1,200 growers and 550 processors were licensed under the program this year.

The Senate has already approved the bill, so if it passes, the bill would go to the governor’s desk.
