MADISON (WKOW) — American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison received a special delivery Wednesday.
Dozens of pillows, made by volunteers, were donated for pediatric heart patients.
This was made possible through Asher’s Heart Fund.
Angela and Tony Steinhauer lost their son, Asher, to a congenital heart defect and started the fund to honor him.
Donating the pillows is just one of many ways they’ve given back to other kids facing similar struggles.
The pillows are used after surgery for the kids to hold and relieve pain while they cough.
