MADISON (WKOW) — Bucky Badger and Santa Claus teamed up to plug in the lights for the Winter Madison Night Market Saturday night.
It was at the top of State Street, with dozens of vendors set up to sell handmade products, local art, and specialty foods.
Organizers say it’s all about braving the cold to have fun.
“We want to encourage people to think about downtown Madison all year round, not just during the summer. So this is our inspiration to show them what a good time you can have downtown,” said Tiffany Kenney, with Madison Central Business Improvement District.
Many downtown businesses had specials during the market, too.
This is the third year for the Winter Night Market.
