MADISON (WKOW) – A clipper system is diving in from the northwest impacting some heading out the door.
A light mix will especially impact western and central communities. Areas east of I-39 will likely see less precipitation.
Expect some slippery spots for the morning drive.
The system will exit our area around late morning with mostly cloudy skies the rest of the day. Temps warm to the upper 30s.
Partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies and a light wind from the south will bring in some of the warmest air of the month.
Highs will get into the mid to upper 40s, which will be the first time this month temperatures have gotten above average.
A strong system develops with rain moving in Wednesday night and Thursday. Most widespread and heavy rain will be Thursday morning with lighter, more scattered activity tapering the rest of the day.
On the back side of that system, cooler air moves in with early morning temps in the 20s and afternoon highs only in the mid 30s.
