Quiet, seasonal weather for opening weekend of gun deer season

MADISON (WKOW) – Last year’s gun deer season began with some light snow. This weekend will be dry and seasonal.

TONIGHT
Clearing continues with temps tumbling to the low and mid 20s.

SATURDAY
A cool, seasonal start in the morning in the low to mid 20s for the opening of gun deer season with a sun-cloud mix. By the afternoon, it’ll be milder in the low to mid 40s.

SUNDAY
Conditions will be a little warmer with temps in the mid to upper 20s to start off the morning, topping off in the upper 40s in the afternoon under mostly to partly sunny skies.

A wintry storm system is possible leading up to the busiest travel day of the year. Right now accumulating snow looks possible Tuesday across parts of Wisconsin.
